Second transnational meeting in Nuremberg, Germany

In June 2023, the second transnational meeting of the project partners within the Erasmus+ project CLEANSURE took place in Germany. The programme included various activities for teachers (LTT) and project coordinators (TPM), which lasted five days and took place at various locations in the region.

 

Daily overview and activities 

Monday, 19.06.2023

• Location: Feucht
• Activities: Welcome, introduction of the participants, presentation of the survey results and the short, medium and long-term project goals for TPM. Meanwhile, the LTT teachers went to Nuremberg for a guided tour of the city. TPM covered topics on future dates, activities and financial aspects of the project(1. Programme_LTT)(2. Programme_TPM).

Tuesday, 20.06.2023

• Location: Schwarzenbruck primary school
• Activities: Welcome and school tour, followed by job shadowing in classes where the topics of school dogs, renewable energy and fair trade practices were presented. In the afternoon, there was a discussion on the school profile and the topics of Fairtrade and school gardens. The morning was flexible for TPM participants(1. Programme_LTT)(2. Programme_TPM).

Wednesday, 21.06.2023

• Location: Schwarzenbruck primary school
• Activities: Focus on ecological education, including topics such as the greenhouse effect and ecological footprint. Teachers took part in a training session on calculating their own ecological footprint, followed by an exchange session. A cultural programme took place in the afternoon.

Thursday, 22.06.2023

• Location: Altdorf primary school
• Activities: Presentation of the "Climate Art" project and a museum tour of the pupils' environmental artworks. The school's environmental concept and ongoing projects on gardening and electricity utilisation were then presented. Guests took part in practical stations such as the production of beeswax cloths. In the evening, there was a guided tour of the town and brewery and a communal dinner in a traditional Franconian beer garden.

Friday, 23.06.2023

• Location: Altdorf primary school
• Activities: Final job shadowing on environmental education and sustainability, followed by a farewell to the guests.

The meeting enabled the exchange and practical communication of environmental education concepts as well as the strengthening of international partnerships in the CLEANSURE project. The combination of practical activities and cultural programmes created a varied and inspiring week for all participants.
