Transnational meetings
Several transnational meetings took place within the CLEANSURE project, which were essential for the coordination and progress of the project. Here is a detailed description of the planned and organised meetings:
- First transnational meeting in Spain (Region of Murcia) - September 2022: The first meeting served as the official project launch. The partners agreed on the division of responsibilities, discussed the project objectives and agreed on the budget and mobility plans. Important points of this meeting were the planning of the baseline assessments, the definition of the communication channels and the creation of a roadmap for the upcoming activities.
- 2nd transnational meeting in Germany (Nürnberger Land) - May 2023: This meeting was hosted by the Nuremberg County State Education Authority and focused on the further development of digital resources and the implementation of teacher training. In addition, the baseline assessments carried out so far were evaluated. The participants discussed the findings gathered so far and planned the next steps in the areas of environmental education and sustainable development. Another focus was on the introduction of the "School Environmental Quality Seal" (SEQS). Workshops were organised to promote innovative teaching approaches in schools.
- 3rd transnational meeting in Portugal - October 2023: At this meeting in Portugal, the focus was on progress in teacher training and the training of pupils and families. The partners exchanged best practices and carried out evaluations of previous activities. In addition, special workshops for green skills were organised and the status of the development of digital teaching materials was presented.
- 4th transnational meeting in Italy - May 2024: This meeting in Italy served to evaluate the project results to date and to plan the final project phase. Progress in the implementation of the environmental education programmes and the further dissemination of the developed materials were discussed. In addition, practical workshops on sustainable mobility and digital education were held to further promote dialogue between the partners.
- Final transnational meeting in Spain - January 2025: The last meeting in Spain will include the summary and final evaluation of the project. Here the final reports will be prepared and the partners will discuss the long-term impact of the project and possible follow-up projects. There will also be a presentation of the results achieved and the School Environmental Quality Seal (SEQS).
These transnational meetings enabled the partners not only to clarify organisational and financial issues, but also to learn from each other and develop innovative approaches in the field of environmental education.
