Intellectual Outputs
In the context of Erasmus+ projects, Intellectual Outputs refer to the tangible, measurable results developed during the project. These outputs are usually innovative products or findings that result from the cooperation of the project partners and are intended to provide long-term benefits for education, learning or other areas.
The CLEANSURE project developed several intellectual outputs aimed at environmental education and sustainability. These outputs were designed to raise awareness of climate change and environmental protection in schools and promote concrete measures to improve the quality of the environment in schools.
- Good practice guide: A key output of the project was the digital "School Good Practice Guide", which documented good practice in the field of environmental education. This guide provided schools, teachers, pupils and families with practical recommendations for promoting sustainable measures. The aim was to support schools in integrating sustainable practices into everyday school life and to create a better awareness of climate protection.
- School Environmental Quality Seal (SEQS): Another output of the project was the introduction of the "School Environmental Quality Seal" (SEQS). This seal was awarded to schools that were characterised by outstanding measures in the area of sustainability and environmental protection. It was intended to motivate schools to continue their efforts to improve environmental quality and to receive public recognition for this.
- Didactic materials and digital resources: The project developed a collection of didactic materials and digital resources focussing on climate change and environmentally friendly lifestyles. These materials supported teachers in integrating environmental issues into the classroom and promoting sustainable behaviour among students.
- Online assessments: Online baseline assessments were also carried out as part of the project to evaluate the current status of environmental education at the participating schools. The results of these surveys served as a basis for the further development of the didactic materials and revealed specific weaknesses in the area of environmental education.
- Training courses for teachers, pupils and families: The project offered training courses to strengthen the skills of teachers, pupils and families in the area of environmental protection. These trainings provided practical skills and knowledge to promote sustainable consumption habits and environmentally friendly behaviour.
- Multiplier events: Events were also organised in the partner countries to present the results and materials of the project. These multiplier events offered the opportunity to exchange best practices and organise workshops on sustainable topics.
These outputs helped to raise awareness of environmental protection, support schools in sustainable practices and bring about a long-term change in the behaviour of pupils and teachers.
